I purchased this during Black Friday and I must say very good value for the price. The mouse itself is quite ergonomic, lightweight and sturdy. Being a wireless mouse, you can get suspicious about input lag and battery life but this mouse delivers very well on those aspects. The charging dock is very useful as well. All in all I’m quite satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a wireless mouse.

After my Logitech G903 was severely double clicking I was in the market for a new mouse. Razer seems promising with their 90 million click switches.
The packaging is nicely done. Cables with the polling dongle come in white as well which matches with my RGB case.
I have big hands. At work I use a Logitech Keyboard + tiny mouse combination (MK270), so I’m used to fingertip and or claw grip.
The mouse itself is so light, it just fly’s around my mouse pad. Perfect for my fingertip/claw grip. I use it combination with a Razer Strider XXL mouse pad.
It was between this or the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro/Logitech G Pro X SUPERLIGHT. Went for the light Razer Viper V2 pro because of the weight/no RGB. Also I’m so done with double clicking mice.. Also no bulge at the palm (grabbed an old similar shaped mouse) and didn’t like it.
Also feels really good in FPS games such as Tarkov/CS:GO. Feels like I’m in control of the mouse much more.

Looks great and works fine, the packaging coming out of the ‘used items’ products is to be desired. The mouse was moving around freely in the box and could have been easily damaged during delivery.

heb al een enige tijd geleden gekocht, en moet zeggen werkt uistekend. in het begin was de 8khz niet altijd even goed supported maar nu al een langere tijd geen problemen mee. moet zelf nog slijtage zien komen want is nog vlekenloos zelf na meer dan duizend uur aan fps gameplay. de originele muis glides voelen supper, heb er zelf andere onder gezet om uit te proberen en heb zelf nu tiger ice onder zitten wat persoonlijk fijne aanvoelt vanwegen meer consistend feel dan de orginele pads. al met al een goeie fijne muis die niet zwaar weegt en de 8khz wat een groot plus punt is voor mij.

Summary: For a mouse that came out at 180eur, it’s really not worth the price imo. It’s a solid mouse, but just extremely overpriced for the quality you get.
I absolutely hate the mouse skates. The scroll wheel is annoying but not the end of the world. I tried ordering this mouse twice and had the same problems on both. The mouse skates are a deal breaker, especially at this price point. While you can buy and replace the mouse skates with third-party skates without voiding warranty, it does void the free return option. Knowing I didn’t love the weird scroll wheel, I decided to not go down that route.
The sensors and buttons on this mouse are the best on any gaming mouse tier list, besides the FinalMouse mice.
I’m returning both and ordering the OP1 8k, which is a lot cheaper, but I also had to order a bungee and a monitor arm to make my desk optimal for a wired mouse.
Pros & Cons: + good side buttons + good sensor + nice M1/M2 clicks + 8k hz polling rate + ambi shape, fits most people + good coating (on the white version) + light weight
– worst mouse skates ever – scroll wheel wobbles and locks left and right – very thick paracord that doesn’t seem fit for wired use.. A lot stiffer compared to the Viper v2 Pro – too big for smaller hands – not everything on the mouse runs at 8k hz consistently, so it’s not “true 8k hz” – while not experiencing any issues myself, wireless mice can experience problems with connectivity depending on your peripherals and how many wireless signals go through your room – battery life is very low on 4 and 8k hz, so don’t forget to charge your mouse often if you play on higher polling rates.

Negativ ist: Ich bin Linkshänder und habe sowieso Probleme eine gute Gaming-Mouse auf dem doch schon “righthand” optimierten Markt zu finden.
Ich hatte zuvor die G900 von “Log..” – eine Super Hardware, leider hat meine kurz nach Ablauf der Garantie Verbindungsabbrüche bekommen und das ist bei shootern sehr ärgerlich.. bei der Arbeit nervig und außerdem von diesem Fabrikat nach 2 Jahren Nutzung unerwartet. (trotzdem mochte ich die Haptik, das Visuelle, etc.)
NUN ZU MEINER NEUEN VIPER ULTIMATE ! 😀

die Viper hat vier Tasten an den Seiten, 2x Daumentasten und 2x “?!?!?!?” Ringfinger/ Kleiner Finger “!?!?!?” Tasten !?!?! xD Ich brech mir fast den Mittelfußknochen beim Versuch diese Tasten gegenüberliegend meines Daumens zu nutzen ! Ich bin mir durchaus darüber bewusst, dass es sich bei diesem Modell um eine hybridmouse handelt. (soll heißen, Beidhändig) Und dass die zwei für nicht nur schwer zugänglichen Tasten in der Theorie für den Rechtshänder unter den Spielern und Arbeitswütigen gedacht sind. Ich habe aber bei meinen lieblingsshooter “eft” darauf nicht ganz so wichtige Optionen drauf verlinkt da das nutzen sich als unkomfortabel entpuppt hat.
Die G300s von “Log..” hat das da besser gelöst als Hybridmouse.
DAS IST ABER WIRKLICH VERDAMMT NOCHMAL DER EINZIGE PUNKT DER AN DER MAUS AUSZUSETZEN IST ! Jeder der was anderes schreibt will eine Eier legende Wollmilch-Sau.
pro:
– schlicht (nicht so futuristisch wie andere Modelle vom gleichen Fabrikat oder auch andere Hersteller, sieht nett aus im aufgeräumten Arbeitszimmer/ Spielhöhle)
– leicht, megaleicht. Ich dachte zuerst ich muss noch einen Akku von 100g. einsetzen oder ähnliches :’D
– geeignet für mittelgroße bis Große Hände. Razer hat hier eine angenehme Höhe, breite und länge gefunden.
– mattiertes Gehäuse, keine Schmiererei durch glänzenden Oberflächen.
– rutscht nicht aus der Hand. Razer hat hier ein etwas raues Obermaterial verbaut und gummierte Flanken.
– Akkukapazität. (seit ca. 5-6 Spielstunden in Betrieb und noch immer 85% Akku)
– der Sensor ist mega genau !!
– auf dem Razer Sphex V2 Gaming Mauspad Medium gleitet die Viper wunderschön, das teil kostet lediglich ~10€
– die neuen Technologien welche bei diesem Modell verbaut sind machen ein sehr haptischen und wertigen Eindruck. das klicken der Viper hört sich neu an. das betätigen der Tasten funktioniert fast ohne widerstand jedoch nicht aus versehen.
– das Mausrad bietet eine akkurate Rückmeldung wie viele Klicks du gedreht hast (wenn du zählen kannst). Nach jeder stufe rastet das Mausrad butterweich aber trotzdem knackig und präzise in der nächsten Position ein.
Ich könnte noch viele positive Aspekte finden. In einer Rezession sollte es jedoch meiner Meinung nach, um den Ersteindruck gehen.
Tiefere Test können dann doch Fachzeitschriften übernehmen oder ihr bindet euch halt einfach >100€ ans Bein und genießt die neue Technik von Razor.
Fazit:
Razor Viper Ultimate incl. Ladestation ist nicht günsitg, sagt mir aber sehr zu !

Oh mensen… Ik heb logitech g pro x superlight gehad (voor 123€) en alles wat ik kan in vergelijking met razer viper 8khz zeggen is dat razer is ECHT better! Als je hebt nodig om dradloos muis te hebben, dan ja Viper 8khz is niet voor jij, maaaar kabel in deze is echt zacht en muis is ook licht zo voor mij het maakt niet dat veel uit. Ik dacht dat 8khz is gewoon marketing onzin maar eerste speel in CSGO and oh boy… Het maakte verschil! Zeker je moet goede PC met usb3 en goed CPU hebben als je wilt geniet van smooth tracking enzv. Voor 45€? Ook voor 80€, beter dan logitech. Aaa een ding nog, optische knopen zijn ook snel af. Ze zijn betje luid maar voor mij het is niets. Geweldig muis mensen!
