I have the deathadder V1 (chroma) and use it from 2016. I have decided to buy the V2. It has improved tracking sensor upto 20K instead of 10k. Not really need it as I set it to 3500 :-). The rubber pads are replaced by a rubbery houding which is a major improvement as the rubber pads always loosen and needed to re-attach. The teflon slides on the bottom have been enlarged drastically. This is also a major improvement. The hendeling is same / better than before. There are 5 profiles that can be storred in the mouse, not very usefull (I thought). How wrong I was. But for the mouse 5 star. Now to the down side: the Synapse SW S*X. I noticed that at some point my windows would not start up properly anymore. It would take 1-2 mins before the windows ICONS would show up after entering password. During that time, just a blue screen. I was struggeling what was happening and started to un-install several software (e.g browsers, etc). After some time I read on a forum that the RAZER small keyboard PC software has the effect to stall startup of windows. So I tried to un-install SYNAPSE and voila, startup delay is gone. The SYNAPSE can not be installed on the PC. Hence the “feature” to store the mouse setting has become a must have to be able to use the mouse properly and is not a nice feature anymore. Really, the SYNAPSE SW is like a virus so bad. How can raser make something bad like this (<1 star for this SW). Luckely, I do not have to install it now. But only 4 stars for the mouse in total, NOT 5!!

This review is for the first mouse i purchased couple of months ago…please don’t get me wrong…i absolutely love this mouse…it is a great mouse and that is the only reason i purchased another one from (i guess the same place) which i received two days ago…the reason i am reviewing the first one is because after receiving the second i noticed a couple of differences…firstly…the second had a usb plug protector cap on it whereas the first did not…secondly…there was a very nice razer sticker sheet with the second one whereas the first did not have any…thirdly the second one was very snuggly packed and after taking out the mouse had a really nice new smell and feel whereas the first was nicely packaged but didn’t seem quite so good…had a different feel and smell in that couldn’t really smell anything (just like the second one now after a couple of days) has lost that newness feeling…so i am guessing that the mouse was a return from somewhere and not brand new out of the box! of course it is working just fine…i just wanted to vent my frustration that i thought i was getting a brand new one and one that had never been used or out of the box before…so…just be warned…it could happen to you….check when you get it…unfortunately i wasn’t even thinking of that when it arrived…was just too damned excited to open it up and start using it…again…it is seriously worth the money! a great mouse…that’s why i bought the second one for the wifey! 🙂

I have been using razer mice for 8 years now and switched to glorious for a while and it was good as well but there is something different about Razer mices it’s build quality is the best and the shape is the best for big hands too.

This mouse is really great for gaming. First reason to buy is its so comfortabl, second reason its so smooth also not that expensive you get alot for this rgb,20k optical etc. Overall really good mouse if you can afford

The Razer DeathAdder V2 is a gaming mouse that lives up to its reputation. As someone who spends countless hours in front of the computer, I can confidently say that this mouse is a reliable companion for both work and play. Its performance, coupled with its comfortable design, makes it a solid choice for gamers and professionals alike.

Fantastic Mouse, will be keeping it for many years, feels like it is very durable will last. Very happy with this upgrade, perfect time for my old DAv2 Pro Wired to be retired (Awesome Mouse). I upgraded from the DAv2 Pro Wired to DAv3 Pro Wireless during Prime Week just days before the DAv4 Pro Wireless was announced so returned the DAv3 Pro after a few days of use and bought the DAv4 Pro instead. Without a doubt the DAv4 Pro is an upgrade on the DAv3 Pro in every way. Even if only subtly in places its noticeable throughout.

New coating / feel of the mouse is great, light as a feather, feels like it fits better in my hand than the DAv3 Pro, possibly a tiny bit longer and maybe closer to the DAv2 Pro length (which I preferred). Despite being lighter it feels noticeably sturdier than the DAv3 Pro.

Can definitely feel the difference with the larger skates, glides so smooth. Sensor picks up all movement perfectly, it feels so responsive and has worked on any surface so far. Wireless range is very far, worked far enough away where I could no longer see my Monitor.

Mouse button clicks feel more tactile / slightly firmer than the DAv3 Pro for sure, also has a nice strong and deeper click sound. Having a gap between the side buttons now is much better.

    INSANELY Good Battery Life!
