Best looking webcam in the price range that it is in. It was super easy to set up and get started with. The mountability is very versatile I currently have it on my monitor, but have also tried it on my tripod. The size is a little larger than most other webcams but with using the Elgato software this webcam has immaculate video quality. This webcam doesn’t use autofocus which is NOT a negative, because you don’t have issues with autofocus not focusing correctly and causing blurring. Instead this camera is crystal clear no matter where you are in the view.

Uso la Elgato Facecam solo per le mie live su Twitch e YouTube, e posso dire che è la prima webcam che mi ha davvero convinto. L’immagine è super nitida, fluida, con colori naturali, e soprattutto non ha lag. Si vede subito che è pensata per chi fa contenuti seri, non è la classica webcam da videoconferenze.
Uno dei punti forti è che non ha messa a fuoco automatica ballerina: resta fissa, quindi niente sfocature improvvise durante la live se ti muovi un po’. E se usi luci come la Elgato Key Light, la qualità dell’immagine fa davvero un salto – sembra quasi una mirrorless.
L’app Camera Hub ti dà un controllo totale: puoi regolare esposizione, ISO, contrasto, nitidezza… e tutto resta salvato direttamente nella cam, anche se la scolleghi. Una chicca che non ti fa perdere tempo ogni volta che accendi il PC.

Sinceramente, me sorprendió el salto de calidad respecto a otras webcams que había probado. La imagen es nítida, con colores vivos y un enfoque que siempre acierta, incluso con poca luz. El HDR hace su trabajo sin exagerar, y el sensor Sony se nota: la cara no se ve lavada ni artificial. Lo estoy usando tanto para streamings como para reuniones en Zoom y Teams, y en ambos casos se ve de lujo. Además, el software de Elgato da muchísimo control sin ser complicado. No tiene micrófono, pero ya lo sabía y prefiero tener un micro aparte. Para quien busca imagen profesional sin complicarse, esta cámara es un acierto.
