I’ll start with the Pros. I’ve been using these while playing “World of Tanks” PC version. First thing I will say is the headphone sound quality is haunting, while in the garage screen I found myself constantly taking off the headset and looking behind me as I could swear the 7.1 surround sound in Dolby is for real. The mic is easy to use, adjust and stays put where I want it. Friends tell me the mic is 5by5 and when you fold the mic up in the stowed position you hear a pleasant voice in the headset say “microphone off” and on again when folded down, supper convenient when you just want to mute the mic briefly. Volume controls are easy to use, intuitive with a momentary rocker dialand and by pressing the same dial in you can cycle through preset sound profiles which you can set up in the App. I really see no need as my only function for this headset is gaming currently. The setup in the App was simple and I played one bout of approx 6hrs running the RGB without a battery issue…just make sure when you are finished using them to switch the headset off via the buttons on the side of the ear cup or simply plug them in. I find the headset very comfortable, even after a continuous 6 hrs of use. I wear a small/med hat and keep my hair tight so for sizing your mileage may vary. If you’re the type of person that likes to wear the headset around your neck I found it quite comfortable and unintrusive as the ear cups rotate so they have a low profile.
First con I’ve experienced is that even though I found the headset comfortable with extended use they are also so loose that if you have to bend over to pick something up or make any fast head movements these will launch right off your head. This headset has a bunch of redundancies such as a mic mute button right next to the power but with the mic muting itself simply by lifting the mic boom means I cant see myself ever using the button. It also comes with a USB dongle to connect the headset and strangely enough also a USB power cable but it’s only function is charging so you must still use the dongle even if you are using the headset while charging. The fact that you need the USB dongle also means you are limited to what you can use the headset for so no connecting to your iPhone etc.
The Pros really outweigh the quirky cons by a large margin for my needs which are only for static PC gaming. If I had the choice these would have scored a 4.5 star rating based on my needs. As I’ve only been using this headset for a short while I can not speak about longevity but judging the visible external build quality I think I might be using these for a long time to come.
I commented in the original review that this headset could be dislodged by a quick movement but I have to add I keep my hair extreme short. I was wearing a ball cap the other day and noted that the headset does stay firmly in place with the cap on, this leads me to imagine that anyone with more hair may not have this issue so I am changing this from the 4 (4.5) star and giving it another star bringing this to a five star considering the value at this price point.

Good quality for the price, nice sound, nice ear pads. … had to move on from my years old Logitec wireless as I’d already replaced the internal battery once and now the ear-pads we disintegrating.

I bought these headphones because I needed an affordable pair, so I went with Amazon Warehouse Deals. I’ve found some great deals there and only got burned once, but they accepted the return, so it was no big deal. These headsets are really impressive. You’d have to seriously abuse them to cause any damage. They’re lightweight and feel comfortable on your head, with enough space so your ears don’t touch the sides. This makes them perfect for long gaming sessions without causing ear discomfort. I can’t believe how inexpensive these headsets are—the build quality is solid and robust, and the sound is surprisingly good. During dinners and gaming sessions, the sound is immersive, with clear audio that lets me hear everything around me, like enemies sneaking up behind me. Normally, you’d pay a lot more for build quality like this. They stay cool on the ears, and I haven’t had any issues with sweating while gaming. Overall, I think they’re a fantastic value and should last for years.

The 7.1 surround sound with custom-tuned 50mm drivers gives a truly immersive experience, whether you’re sneaking up on an enemy or enjoying cinematic sound in games. The memory foam earpads and breathable mesh fabric keep me comfortable through long gaming sessions, and the microphone quality is crystal-clear with the flip-up mute feature. The wireless range is excellent, and it’s super easy to set up with my PC. Highly recommended for serious gamers!
