So let me start this off by saying I am either extremely lucky or people are overly aggressive with their mice, as my experience does not tally up with the majority here, but there are a few things to be aware of.
As far as build quality goes, I have had absolutely no issues with my mouse. The mounting of the scroll wheel is intact and I use it daily. Those that have had issues with the scroll wheel – I wonder if they are using it as a middle click. Looking at the mechanism I’d say there is some fragility there, but controlled presses haven’t presented an issue and for scrolling it is smooth, no grinds.
Mouse is large (the USP for my purchase) as not many mice cater for my hand size. It’s ergonomic and comfortable in both wrap around and claw hybrid hand positions.
Now, the quirky stuff. You need iCue to take full advantage of this mouse. If it isn’t installed then you will not have full functionality – if it isn’t running you lose some functionality such as DPI profiles and lighting.
Corsair also released a firmware with an issue for this mouse, so do not update as you will have desynchronise issues. This can be reversed by installing an older version of iCue if you have inadvertently updated and are now experiencing issues.
Battery life is OK. It’s not superb but it isn’t awful either.
Overall, very satisfied with my Ironclaw. I’ve had more broken Logitech mice than I have for Corsair, but each persons experience will differ.

We hadden al een andere Corsairmuis, maar deze heeft veel mogelijkheden. Hij voelt heel prettig in je hand en zonder muismat werkt hij ook perfect. De verlichting is instelbaar (vaste kleuren, dus ze lopen niet over). Met korting gekocht tijdens Black Friday, maar deze muis is het normale bedrag zeker waard. Draadloos, maar met bijgeleverd snoer oplaadbaar.

I bought the mouse three months ago, and even with only moderate use, the paint has already started to wear off. I understand this isn’t a very expensive mouse, but I’ve used cheaper ones that lasted five years or more—and they still looked better after that time than this one does after just three months.

It is ergonomic and has lot of options for the settings, however the material is very bad, it started to peel off from the finger and palm base after a few weeks of use. very bad quality material.

Vervanging maar toch 5 sterren?
Ja mijn vorige Iron Claw was precies dezelfde muis als deze en was al jaren oud, alle knoppen werkte nog prima en had geen technische gebrekken. Maar ik ben een diehard gamer en maak heel veel uren op een dag waardoor na zoveel jaar met meer uren gebruik dan ik kan tellen zijn de rubberen zijkanten waar je vingers zitten best versleten.
Ik zag de prijs van deze wat ver is van wat het was toen hij net uit kwam en dacht makkelijke keuze, vervangen dus met dezelfde muis!
Ik heb grote handen en deze muis ligt perfect in de hand, ikzelf gebruik de zogenaamde Claw techniek als ik aan het gamen ben waardoor dus ook het rubber sneller slijt, maar zelfs als ik hem als Palm houding gebruikt voor bijv. wat internetten ligt hij heerlijk in de hand.
Ook prima in te stellen met de icue software zowel de verlichting als je knoppen. Prima geschikt voor snelle FPS gaming en langdurige strategische game sessies.

I have been using this mouse for a few months now. I think almost half a year, but like others I am experiencing issues scrolling. It took quite some time, but as someone who uses it’s scroll wheel a lot it really sucks. Everything about the mouse is perfect, I love the flexibilty the DPI changes give. The adjustments in light are a fancy addon and overall it feels super sturdy.
So it’s a must have if you don’t use the middle click (mousewheel click) because it will break the mouse sooner or later

Cette souris a l’air de bonne qualité bonne sensibilité réglable facilement avec le logiciel iCUE
Pourquoi 3 étoile ? La batterie n’est pas de longue de durée modèle défectueux peut être je ne pense pas j’ai justement pris cette souris rapport au soucis de batterie de mon ancienne souris corsais également.
Le clic de la souris deviens désagréable dans le temps ( plus fort ) ce qui me gêne personnellement lors des mes session de jeux
