I’ve had a few monitors ranging from IPS, VA, TN, and I wanted to see what OLED would be like.
The short version is that I would recommend this monitor as probably the best OLED for eSports at the moment.
I wanted one of these monitors strictly for competitive games, including Valorant, and I wanted to see how they compared against my 360hz Zowie TN X2566k.
The ASUS monitor, particularly in the 24 inch aspect ratio made felt very responsive; I experienced fewer situations where it felt like the enemy would appear on my screen and it would feel like I was already dead. As an aim trainer, my kovaaks scores have continued to increase, and the colours look great in comparison to TN. Going from 1080p to 1440p (or 1332p using the 24 inch aspect ratio mode), I’ve not noticed any negatives. Perhaps some more detail, but no negatives whatsoever.
Although I don’t use it much, HDR worked fine in Windows, clipping at 1300nits. The menu was very responsive, and I personally haven’t experienced the menu issues that others have mentioned; perhaps it was fixed with the latest firmware but your mileage may vary.
For those debating between the Sony M10s and the PG27AQDP monitor, having tried both, the ‘Cinema’ mode on the ASUS model got pretty close to the FPS Pro+ mode on the Sony model. Ultimately, I felt like the ASUS one was the best for my needs.

A mio parere il miglior monitor sul mercato, ovviamente bisogna avere un pc di fascia alta altrimenti non avrebbe troppo senso, 0 ghosting e se riuscite ad usarlo al massimo dei suoi hz (480hz) la fluidità è pazzesca, confrontandolo con altri monitor 360hz la differenza si sente, naturalmente per chi non ha un’occhio allenato è difficile notare evidenti differenze di fluidità. Per quanto riguarda le impostazioni del monitor nulla da dire non manca letteralmente nulla, regolazione luminosità contrasti e saturazione inoltre è possibile modificare la risoluzione permettendo di ridurre il formato da 27” a 24,5”. So che sembra una recensione ma questo monitor mi ha svoltato realmente l’esperienza nel competitive di valorant e fortnite.

Exceptionnel, couleur, contraste, rendu , profondeur des noirs et fluidité, cet écran fantastique… Pas donné, mais il vaut son prix. Achat mûrement réfléchi. Une fois sur le bureau, on ne le renvoi pas….. Enchanté de l’avoir acquis.. On redécouvre ces jeux, et l’immersion est totale, un autre monde ….
