As a Mac professional with a sleek MacBook Pro 16″ M3 and Studio Display setup, the Elgato Wave:3 fits perfectly into my minimalist workspace. This microphone is a game-changer for anyone who does frequent video calls, podcasting, or streaming.
Pros:
Stunning build quality that matches Apple’s aesthetic
Super easy USB-C connectivity with my MacBook Pro
WaveLink software is intuitive and great for managing audio sources
Crisp, clear vocal recording with built-in Clipguard technology
Compact design doesn’t clutter my clean desk setup
Cons:
Limited to cardioid pattern (might be restrictive for some)
Bass response is slightly under-emphasized
Plastic mount feels less premium compared to the mic itself
The touch-sensitive mute button and LED indicator are particularly nice touches. For professionals who need a reliable, plug-and-play microphone that looks great and sounds clean, the Elgato Wave:3 is an excellent choice. Highly recommended for Mac users and content creators.
Would I buy again? Absolutely.

Dose the job the sound is really good and you can configure the mice with Elgato Wave Link to install mods like noise cancellation you can watch the videos on YouTube.

Me encanta, lean el manual o un video para saber como mejorar el audio aunque asi normal se escucha muy bien, es dificil al principio pero viendo algo de apoyo te ayuda bastante a configurarlo

I have tested multiple office speakerphones (Jabra, Poly, …) and they were all unsatisfactory for my need. I needed a setup without headphones for day-to-day business calls. Although I tested speakerphones in a range up to three hundred euros, none were good enough. This microphone out of the box gives perfect clarity and natural sound to the listening public. In combination with its software and VST plugins it is the perfect solution for my needs. I use it in conjunction with a small Poly speaker and it works great. I am using a pop filter but soon plan to buy an Elgato LP mic arm and vibration diffuser.

Gebruik de microfoon voor content en tijdens teams/skype/discord gesprekken, werkt uitstekend. Met de software van Elgato kun je makkelijk tunen.

The outer plastic shell feels cheap to the touch. The USB cable that came with it made audio interference. There are better options in the market for this price.

If you are looking for an usb mic and this is within your budget, get it! The wave link software alone is worth it! Very simple and easy audio solutions when paired with an elgato capture card for a dual pc streaming setup

While streaming, I decided to invest in only my sound, hence buying the microphone.
Love it, even if it’s amongst the cheaper ones, I still would have loved to see the price go down like between € 10,- to € 15,-. However, no complaints. Check de reviews of the mic, they all true and it is imo the best budget solution, still getting an A-grade mic for it.

This is hands down a really good mic for beginners and enthusiasts on who want a high end-mid range mic. The reason why this mic is flexible with its audio is because the Solocast or Hypercast which are also pretty good mics do not offer any software support directly from their end and the Wave 3 has Elgato software directly built in so you could directly just plug and play with your stream or even any calls. This also has a really good pickup pattern, when I was using it it could hear with all the ‘warmth’ and clarity in my voice from a decent distance away unlike other mics I have tried. I loved that the connectivity on the wave 3 is a direct USB-C port and it also has a direct monitoring 3.5mm jack which provides crystal clear audio with no delay if you need monitoring. The whole mic is made of metal and is very sturdy and suppresses those weird low frequencies picked up from your computer fans or background noise. This mic however doesn’t have noise cancelling i.e. picking up echo or loud noises from outside your window or door. Overall its a really good mic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good mics at this price range.
