Bit of a late review to purchase, but this microphone is wonderful.
Bought it on recommendation and I didn’t know what to expect. The tap function on the top of the microphone to mute and unmute paired with a clear “on” and “off” from the LED in the mic helps tremendously. Plugging it in for the first time is easy and effortless, and the modes toggled on the knob are simple and effective.
The audio quality produced through is it great! after a few tests to sedate my curiosity I discovered its strong enough to even pick up on my heartbeat if I leaned close to it and with the correct settings. I’m not using this thing for anything professional, but for me it’s PLENTY enough!
Conclusion: nothing bad to say! Easy to set up, sound is great and it looks cool too, a really nice addiction to the desk. I very much recommend this microphone

The microphone sounds good, no weird noises, rattling or anything. Although I recommend a pop filter, the built in one is not bad, but sometimes when pronouncing p’s and s’s you hear a pop. I use it on a cheap microphone stand and it works great. On the top of the mic you have the mute button, there is no click, you just hover to lightly tap it. When the mic is muted, the red light turns off. I have not tested the different sound settings knob on the back. There is a also a audio jack on the back.
I recommend this microphone, using it almost daily past 6 months.

Das HyperX QuadCast ist für mich ein echt top Mikrofon. Der Look ist richtig nice mit der Beleuchtung, und auch technisch funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Die Sprachqualität ist super – man versteht alles klar und deutlich.
Auch die ganzen Funktionen, wie die verschiedenen Aufnahme-Modi (z. B. Stereo, usw.) lassen sich einfach einstellen. Die Bedienung ist insgesamt sehr durchdacht, inklusive des Verstärkungsrads. Für mich stimmt hier einfach alles – absolute Empfehlung und 5 Sterne!

Ce micro est tout simplement incroyable ! La qualité sonore est impeccable, parfaite pour le streaming, les podcasts et même les jeux. J’apprécie particulièrement le design soigné et les fonctionnalités pratiques comme le bouton tactile pour mute et l’indicateur lumineux. Quality of voice captured by the microphone is excellent.
The four selectable polar patterns (stereo, omnidirectional, cardioid, bidirectional) work properly; I only wish the red light that glows inside the microphone indicate the sides of the microphone that are listening (according to the selected polar pattern). At the moment, the only way to find that out is to pick up the whole microphone, turn it around and see the selected polar pattern.
The volume control has to be set to the maximum in order for the microphone to be comparable to a webcam. Unfortunately, the volume control is too easy to rotate accidentally and I often find myself recording at mid-volume, which is too soft. The five dots on the volume control do not correspond to the position of the volume control: the five dots only occupy a space of about 2cm, but the volume control rotates about 3 times as much. So I cannot tell what the current volume is unless I rotate it to the maximum or to the minimum (i.e. until the volume control hits its rotation limit).
I find the anti-vibration shock mount does little to dampen the vibration from the keyboard or from the hand touching the table. Everything is picked up by the sensitive microphone.

This is a very good mic for discord/online voice communication and possibly for content creation however you would need to use outside programs to adjust any further because there is no software for this, which is pretty much the biggest complaint
Using OBS alone (which is free) you can make it sound pretty good but requires trial and error or watching a guide for settings.
Other than that, straight out of the box it is a great quality mic with a dial for adjusting gain and mic direction and is very simple and easy to set up and use.
Very lightweight and is easily fitted to an applicable mic arm and as long as you are willing to go without or use different softwares for adjustments it is an excellent buy.
