Nice microphone that works really well (plug and play). Way better than most headset microphones.

First of all the quality and price for performance for this mic is just DEAD on. This thing is absolutely a steal. If you are debating between the snowball and the yeti. GET THE YETI. Spend the extra money and you have yourself a REALLY nice mic for just over 100 bucks. Now when i first plugged it in, it worked RIGHT away. Drivers automatically installed and it was recognized with no issues. (I use Windows 10 so good news for us new windows 10 users 😀 it works right away with no compatibility issues of any sort) Now the only thing you will have to do is re-set your default headset for sound because the yeti has a headphone pass through that allows you to hear your voice over (for recording music or commentary’s etc) So you have to go back into your devices find your headset (mine is a Hyper X Cloud Pro aka Realtek high definition audio is what it will be called on your audio device list) and make sure you set that as your default INPUT SOUND if you use that for gaming or you tube videos or what not for your sound input. The Yeti wont need to be set up or anything you just plug it in and make sure you set your headphones back to your default sound and you are good to go. Just tweak the gain on the back of the yeti mic itself i usually put it halfway and than a little bit less than that (counter clockwise if you are looking at the gain knob) and my friends say that is a perfect sound level when i talk to them in skype and in our games. You also don’t have to sit right on top of it for it to pick up. I sit mine right next to my computer monitor (about a foot and a half away) and my friends say they can hear me just fine 😀 and it doesn’t pick up back round noise as much as the snowball did. It is by no means a studio pro 1000+ dollar mic that will sound absolutely perfect but i’ll tell ya what for 100 bucks it beats the mics that are on gaming headsets and the quality is by far the best i have ever owned and i am a pretty big gamer. I have owned a ton of standalone mics and headsets and this one EASILY takes the cake and i can now record my guitar covers and play games and talk to friends all with the same mic. It really is a great purchase. 10/10 i would DEFINITELY recommend this mic to anyone who would like to record music, sing, plays games online, skype chats with friends, etc. It is a great product! (i got the black out edition and it looks great 😀 it is a flat black finish so NO fingerprints!

Has great voice equalizer, good for podcasts, live streams and even a whole table meeting perfectly recorded with the Big Blue

It works perfectly and i can immediately notice the higher quality sound compared to my older mic. It’s very sensitive however so make sure to mess around with the settings and see what works for you. As for the stand and size it’s stable and a bit bigger than i expected but for the rest pretty good.

Apologies in advance if you’re looking for a real review this will be more of a rant of how QC did me wrong here’s a short though
Pros: Great build quality, micro USB with matching black cable unlike the black snowball that has a white usb-b cable, does what you want (podcast vocal, music recording, skype etc…), easy to use, driverless
Cons: In my particular case they my blue logo badge was missing from my product, no XLR connector (not to worry the USB cable is plenty long for whatever arm you’re planning on using) but if your equipment strictly deals with XLR and can’t be bothered with adaptars everywhere buy the Yeti Pro which does have an XLR connector but of course at a premium(over $100 premium), or go for the Audio Technica 2020. I’s also expensive so I recommend waiting for it to go on sale if you have your eye on this thing I picked it up at $90 CAD on black friday sale.
Begin Rant
I’m sorry to be the negative nancy for this product. I strongly believe in blue products, I do… I bought this product on sale for black friday at $99CAD which was a great deal. All works about as expected but one annoying problem that came up was that the blue logo was missing from my mic out of box. Now apparently the side with the blue logo is the front of the mic which is where you want to speak into when you are using it on cardoid mode. It took me a minute to google what was up but apparently I was just confused because mine simply didn’t come with a blue logo. I checked if it was dislodged somewhere but no it’s simply missing, and while the product is flawless and works as great there is a degree of quality control from blue that I expect. As such they even have a sticker on the bottom of the mic saying QC Passed. It’s a shame I bought it from amazon and I just don’t have the time out of my day to pack it up and exchange it via mail because if I could do a quick 1 stop exchange I would. I love the blue branding and I love their equipment, I would appreciate it if they can compensate me with a stick on dealy I’d appreciate it.
Edit: Sorry for the Earlier rant I’m sure I popped the logo off without notcing while unboxing. Apologies 5/5!

You can’t really go wrong with this mic.
It’s a solid one

Direct bij aansluiten melding van Windows over USB powersurge. PC opnieuw opstarten lukte niet zolang de mic aangesloten was, losgekoppeld en teruggestuurd!

Amazing quality, surprised by how heavy it was, very robust.
I get great comments on the mic quality. One customer asked what kind of bird I was keeping whilst on a video call. This was a bird outside in my garden tweeting, that is how sensitive it is.
Would definitely buy again.
