   I bought this headset to use mainly at work but also for occasional gaming. I struggle with basic work headsets as they don’t have great noise cancellation, plus I liked the white and these looked more comfortable.

   The sound is really good and noise cancellation works well, although not as good as my AirPods. The mic is excellent quality. My only reason for returning is that they are too bulky for me to wear at work all day, plus people can hear music when I play it at medium volume which I do in between my calls while working. I would have kept them for about £50 but just can’t justify £120 for headset that isn’t perfect for me. If you don’t mind a bulky headset then I’d recommend.

   Used the HyperX Cloud II’s for over a decade and loved them, but they were getting very old. I switched to these and couldn’t be happier. The spatial audio is fantastic, and the bass is a big improvement from the Cloud II’s also. The switch between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz means I can switch from PC to phone pretty seamlessly when I’m going out as well. I don’t use the mic so not sure what the quality is like on that. For comfort, they feel great, and have less of a clamp than my prior headphones, which is more comfortable for longer sessions. Recommend!

   The HyperX Cloud 3 S is what the regular, non-S headset should have been. The standard Cloud 3 has a somewhat overly neutral sound, especially for those coming from the second version. In the 3 S, the bass is present, not overwhelming, but clearly there, and a bit of extra treble has also been added. That alone is great news. On top of that, it now supports Bluetooth with an incredible 200-hour battery life. Another excellent addition is that the headset stores your EQ settings in its own memory, so your sound profile remains consistent across Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, and even on consoles. It’s also a pleasant surprise that the headset is available in white, not just the usual black-and-red color scheme. The microphone has also seen some improvements if you compare it with the Cloud 2, even though it was already great in the regular Cloud 3.
