So i bought this because i break headsets from 24/7 use. the sound in these are slightly above average. They would be my concept of “pretty decent” however i do use a soundblaster DAC. what’s super whack is if you bump the metal frame around the top with your hand or any object it “humms” like a guitar tuning fork and vibrates until you put your hand on it and steady it – you can hear this through the cans like its a instrument or something.
The controller and physical mute switch and volume control rests really high up near your neckline and not down the cord and in your lap like steelseries and others. The mute switch is a left-to-right switch thats really stiff and awful to use and will make an audible crack noise over comms when flipped and is also hard to grip without finger nails. Really impractical. However the volume control is a cheap textured micro wheel on the very same controller – so while i was disappointed and baffled by the position of the controller being so high near my neck and the physical mute being so garbage, having the volume wheel this high and reliably in the exactly same place near my neck is very practical and useful for dodging ear rape from loud comms or game intros. Some of my other headsets that had physical mutes had a line-bleed effect even when physically muted. This seems prevalent on a number of different brands. For that reason i now only use software mute.
i am yet to damage this product in any way over many thousands of hours, the cups are so gentle that you can use these for literally any duration. The bendable mic is usually what breaks in most headsets but this has a turtled metal sleeve that feels similar to military quality.
a word of warning to PC users, don’t reach down at your feet vertically to pick up something you dropped like a phone, as the metal frame protrudes at a modest height and will easily crack or harm the monitor in front of you.

Sitzt meiner Meinung nach zu locker, die Ohrmuscheln gehen komplett über die Ohren, als Brillenträger empfinde ich dies aber als angenehm. Der Klang ist unterirdisch, klingt blechern und ohne Bass und Mitten, kein Volumen im Sound. Man denkt es sitzt nicht richtig und deswegen der schlechte Klang. Mein altes Headset war auch von Asus, das war aber vom Klang her viel besser. Nicht zu empfehlen.
