  1. BuySavvyCanada

This keyboard looks and feels incredibly premium and I was instantly impressed by all the little details. However due to a number of personal preferences i went back to using my old keyboard.

It’s obvious this keyboard is well constructed. It’s heavy and solid, and the keys have a nice tactile and dense feel to them. The volume knob is metallic and ratchets really nicely in the fingers.

The sound it makes is softer and deeper and less annoying than other mechanical keyboards I’ve used.

The backlighting is good, but coming from a Logitech I find the back glow of the keys annoying and preferred my old keyboard which just illuminated the letters and symbols. I like the little button on the side that enables you to switch off the backlighting with a simple touch.

The software I found pretty cumbersome and complicated compared to logitech’s. So you can expect a pretty steep learning curve unless you just want to stick with basic functions and lighting profiles. But there’s clearly a lot you can do within it if you can invest the time.

I like that it has a 2.4ghz dongle and also includes Bluetooth. The battery life is incredible and is charged through a standard usb-c cable that also can be used as a wired keyboard if necessary.

The ten keyless design means I have much more room for my mouse when playing games, but I do really miss the numpad for productivity.

    Great keyboard can only recommend

  5. Ben

I wanted to love this keyboard. The tactile feedback is incredible, the chassis feels rugged and the lighting effects are bright, smooth and beautiful.

So when one star? Corsairs own update bricks the wireless receiver. Google the issue- there are massive Reddit threads about and the only fix is to contact Corsair for a new dongle. It wouldn’t be an issue but they are still pushing the same broken update from 6 months ago.

Anyway, it happened to me and it’ll likely happen to you – fine if you want a wired keyboard, but I didn’t. Was very sad to see this returned because it ticked every box… until it didn’t.
