Posé en véritable défi au très connu Logitech G915, le Razer Deathstalker V2 propose la même longueur de course que le premier, mais avec des switches linéaires et silencieux, ce qui ravira celles et ceux qui n’ont pas envie d’avoir un retour tactile ou un clic à chaque pressage de touche. Le résultat est réussi avec des keycaps plats et peu surélevés au toucher très doux, proche d’une membrane tant il n’y a ni bruit ni résistance. La résistance justement, parlons-en : il faudra quelques sessions pour s’habituer au toucher très sensible des touches, bon nombre de fois certaines touches sont activées sans le vouloir tant la linéarité est proposée sans force. Cela se corrige avec l’habitude Autrement, la réactivité est irréprochable avec un retour de keystroke immédiat, l’éclairage Razer Chroma est toujours aussi intuitif et poussé dans la personnalisation, et la molette multimédia crantée est un réel plus. Le tout sur un cadre en métal dépoli du meilleur effet, ce clavier est une réussite de la part de Razer !
